Applications:
Manholes, Wet Wells, Grit Chambers, Headwork Channels, Clarifiers, Acid Containment, Thickeners, Sewer Piping, Floors, all areas exposed to Hydrogen Sulfide.

Procedures For New Concrete:

  1. Brush blast concrete to expose 'Bug Holes'.
  2. Trowel Sewer Shield® 100 to a thickness of 1/8". Using water, roll to a smooth finish.
  3. After eight hours, Spark Test with a Tinker Rasor set at 12,500 volts. If pinholes are detected, grind the defective area, fill the 'Bug Holes' and retest.

Note: Corro-Cure can be used to coat green concrete to accept the Sewer Shield® within 24 hours of pour. Sewer Shield® can be applied when concrete attains 2,500 PSI.

Procedures For Old Concrete:

  1. Sandblast all concrete to remove spalded or deteriorated concrete.
  2. Fill all deep spalded areas with C120 up to a depth of 2". For areas with deterioration greater than 2", use a high early cement to fill cavities.

Note: Repairs will vary according to the extent of deterioration present. Caution should be taken to ensure structural integrity.
