Priming:
Priming is not necessary, however, if after cutting open an expansion joint or crack the edges appear to be dusting, then the application of Corro-Prime is advised. Cutting of the joints or cracks must be done with a diamond blade as a fiber blade is likely to leave a "black smudge" on the surface which will interfere with the adhesion of the caulk.
